I didn’t have a spare oil level gauge on hand, so I purchased one from Webike that fits the TW200 right crankcase cover. It’s handy to have a spare gauge, and you don’t need to worry about oil leaking from the tip of the gauge. If it’s leaking engine oil from there, you definitely need to replace the gauge; otherwise, you’d have to replace the entire right-side cover. Replacing the whole cover is a bit expensive, but if you’re lucky, you might be able to find a used one on Webike. This bike came in for a bit of a refresh due to being an off road bike as well as a road bike. It certainly had seen better days. There were various parts that I wanted to refresh during this and this crank case cover gasket 1 was one of them as it had a slight weep. The gasket was easy to find using the tools Webike provide on their help pages. I also cross reference with Yamaha schematics to make sure. I had some other parts for this bike in my order and getting them all shipped together made sense and saved me a little on the shipping too. EMS is my chosen courier and the order arrived very well packaged in 7 days from being shipped. The gasket came in the standard Yamaha packet and was in perfect condition upon arrival. This is a detailed cover gasket but that does not mean it is not a capable gasket. With all Yamaha gaskets like this, I have never had any issues. Fantastic quality and well worth the effort in changing. Every mount point lined up perfectly and this made me very happy. Changed the sump plug on the XMAX 300 and therefore needed a new crush washer. Purchased other brands before but you can't go wrong with genuine Yamaha ones. Really easy to find, probably fit a load of other bikes but this XMAX 300. Purchased along with other parts so the shipping was reasonable. Upon arrival I thought Webike had forgot to add them to the box but they were tucked away out of harms way in some bubble wrap. The quality is as expected from Yamaha and the specification for the gasket was exact. There were no extra shards of metal around or on teh gasket and the surface was free from any marks. Purchased to complete the change on the crank casing for the YZ490 along with the gasdet. This was due an oil change but when I checked the plug, it had been really chewed up with some idiot using metal pliers to loosen. This was toast and needed a brand new replacement. I do like to plan in advance just in case but even I could not have seen this coming. Great price from Webike, super easy to find the correct parts.
