Very happy with the addition disk this wet clutch upgrade kit offers.About the feeling of use - Much nicer bite from the clutch and no more slipping due to the increased engine power over stock.Products to buy together - You will be wanting heavier duty clutch springs and a reinforced spring retainer to ensure you have a bullet proof setup.Difficulty of installation - I found the complete installation to be difficult in nature. There were some challenging steps in the process, the job is time consuming and you will need some special tools to complete the installation.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the pricing for such a top quality setup excellent. Webike do offer another 6 disk clutch option from Kitaco and a much higher price but it does include addition parts that might be to your advantage if you are requiring them.About shipping and packaging - Sea freight is my preferred shipping option and usually arrives in Australia in 6 to 8 weeks from dispatch. Always well packaged to ensure parts arrive safety and are ready for use.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - When you are looking to purchase a reinforced spring retainer skip the 3 bolt one and get the 6 bolt option.
About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the materials used are fiber and steel for the clutch friction disks and steel for the clutch plates.About the feeling of use, This clutch upgrade kit gives better performance and a better clutch biting point then the original Monkey clutch kit with zero chance of any clutch slippage, even with the 181cc Neo big valve head big bore kit.Products to buy together, Adding the SMR upgrade spring kit and center lock nut wrench to your cart would be ideal to allow you to disassemle the clutch pack for replacement of the clutch friction disks and clutch plates. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the clutch upgrade kit for my installation was average, once access is obtained complete disassembly of the clutch pack is needed to install the pre-soaked parts.Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of this product is good. You receive a stronger and durable clutch kit when compared to the original clutch parts. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of SMR clutch upgrade kit that contains 6 clutch disks and 5 clutch plates to replace the Honda 5 clutch disks and 4 clutch plates setup.About the feeling of use: By installing this clutch upgrade kit and paired together with a few other upgraded clutch parts you have the ultimate wet clutch upgrade for the Grom, able to handle hard riding and big bore kit power with reduced clutch slippage.Products to buy together: Some stiffer clutch springs are a must to purchase along side the SMR clutch upgrade kit and then that also leads to requiring a stronger clutch lifter plate.Difficulty of installation: The process to install took me 24 hours in total due to the soak time of the clutch disk and clutch plates in oil, remove the right crankcase cover to be able to access the clutch assemble and remove it as a whole for disassembly on a workshop bench. Once disassenbled install the oil soaked SMR clutch disk followed by the clutch plate until all are fitted and align the pressure plate and clutch center correctly before bolting down the lifter plate. A little difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a strong and durable clutch upgrade kit at a very affordable price as compared to later released clutch upgrade kit from Kitaco that is also a 6 clutch disk design but at a higher cost.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. About quality and texture - You are getting a set of billet aluminium caps with a silver anodized finish. The design looks to be well thought of with the grooves on the inside of the cap to additionally help with transfering the heat from the oil to the outside fins.About the feeling of use - The silver finish doesn't match the silver engine of the Monkey 125 so that my bother some people but not me. The caps warm up just like the Honda OEM caps but now with the fins exposed to the air flow this area can add some cooling effect to the engine oil.Products to buy together - If you have increased the performance of your 125cc engine and are still looking for more cooling then the Kitaco high mount 3 row oil cooler kit specifically designed for the Monkey 125 will be a nice additional purchase.Difficulty of installation - Installation of the tappet cap set is just simply re-using the O-rings from the Honda OEM caps and tightening down the Kitaco caps with the included allen head bolts. A small amount of oil will come out when the lower tappet cap is removed but that's nothing to worry about.Cost performance and comparison with other products - This purchase has to be the best value finned tappet cap as you are receiving 2 caps and not 1 like the finned tappet cap from G-Craft. About quality and texture - This product is made up of a multitude of parts, steel material used for the base plate for the strength in case of a fall and aluminium material is used for the guard plates and protector to keep it as light as possible.About the feeling of use - With the addition of some protective items fitted to the Monkey 125 I feel more at ease knowing that if I have a small accident that the motorcycle parts will be saved.Products to buy together - Kitaco have many beautifully machine aluminium anodized parts but their left crank case cover has the ability to also protect the engine cover so is perfect to add for some additional fall protection.Difficulty of installation - The included instructions show the sequence of lining up all the parts and they simply secure to the fork guard mounting tabs with the included longer bolts. I'd also recommend using a thread locking product.Cost performance and comparison with other products - A high priced product from Kitaco but so are similar products from the likes of G-Craft. About quality and texture - One solid machined aluminum cover with a cool design and smooth anodized finish to hide the ugly starter motor housing.About the feeling of use - When you are using a low mount exhaust on the Monkey 125 the starter motor is no longer hidden by the exhaust pipe and this part ready dresses up the area.Products to buy together - Kitaco have many fine aluminium billet parts and one that will also dress up a poor looking Honda OEM part is the clutch cable receiver bracket.Difficulty of installation - Installation of this cover is just removing the Honda OEM mounting hardware, then positioning the spacers and cover and tightening down the included longer bolts.Cost performance and comparison with other products - Not a cheaply priced part but still more affordable then the one available from Posh and much better looking in my opinion.About shipping and packaging - Sea freight is my preferred shipping option and arrives in Australia within 8 weeks from dispatch. About quality and texture - The washers are machined aluminium with an anodized finish and the dome nuts are stainless steel which is nicer then the Honda OEM soft steel chrome version.About the feeling of use - I chose the red anodized finish to add somemore highlights to the Monkey 125 and am really liking how they look with the red highlights on the upgraded rear shocks.Products to buy together - For more red highlights adding the Kitaco aluminium key box cover to my was a must and Kitaco have many more to choose from.Difficulty of installation - Installation was no problem and all you need it a ratchet and socket to complete the job, be sure to just change one nut and washer at a time so you don't have an issue with the suspension moving.Cost performance and comparison with other products - Priced well and cheaper then the version SP Takegawa have.
