*When the Desmodromic Twin Cam 4V cylinder head is installed, the engine length will be longer and the normal front fork, normal top bridge and stem will interfere with the engine tire, so the front end needs to be changed. *In the case of Monkey and Gorilla ・It is recommended to install SP Takegawa's front fork kit at the same time. *In the case of CRF50F/XR50R/CRF70F/XR70R ・SP Takegawa does not sell front fork kits. Although aftermarket frames and front fork kits are available, SP Takegawa has not tested their installation at the same time. Please install them at your own risk. ・SP Takegawa's Digicrosser exhaust system cannot be installed at the same time. *Other products are included in the image. *Depending on the lot, the product may be delivered with the old price and label with the old JAN code before the price change. *Please note that there may be changes in product specifications due to manufacturer's reasons. * Please note in advance that cancellation and/or return of this product cannot be accepted once the order has been placed.

This kit part uses the Desmodromic Twin Cam 4V cylinder head.
Features of the Desmodromic Twin Cam 4V head Desmodromic engine (forced valve opening/closing mechanism) The majority of motorcycles use camshafts and valve springs to open and close the intake and exhaust valves. The Desmodromic mechanism uses a specially shaped camshaft and rocker arm to force the valves to open and close. Since there are no valve springs, surging does not occur at high rpm and the friction related to the camshaft drive is extremely low.
SP Takekawa's Desmodromic Twin Cam 4V is designed with 8 rocker arms and 2 camshafts skillfully arranged like a precision machine within the limited stud bolt positions of the Monkey. The characteristics of the desmodromic mechanism, combined with SP Takekawa's cylinder head development technology, have resulted in the highest class of intake and exhaust efficiency and high engine performance. With the Twin Cam Desmodromic 4V, you can enjoy high power characteristics and engine response that you have never experienced before.
Valve Diameter The exhaust port is located in the same position as the Monkee (carburetor model) so that the stock exhaust can be used instead of the special exhaust.
Machined aluminum cylinder head cover The cylinder head covers are all machined from aluminum and anodized in silver for superior corrosion resistance. The anodized aluminum emphasizes the machined aluminum parts and gives the cylinder head a beautiful appearance. A breather union is included when using a breather hose.
M8 Spark Plug The M8 spark plug is adopted for the optimum valve pinching angle and compactness of the head due to the 4-valve design.
Rocker Arm / Hollow Camshaft Rocker arm (forced valve opening/closing mechanism) The rocker arm (forced valve opening/closing mechanism) does not have a valve spring, and the valve opening/closing is forced by the camshaft. Compared to the valve spring type, the rocker arm reduces the resistance of the valve train and eliminates the valve surging that occurs in the high RPM range, resulting in higher output and engine response in the high RPM range. (A spring is used only on the closed side of the valve to hold the valve in place.)
Hollow camshaft The camshaft of the forced valve opening/closing mechanism is equipped with cam mounts that operate independently for "opening" and "closing". The camshaft journals are supported by ball bearings on both ends to reduce frictional resistance during start-up and at low speeds. The camshafts included in the kit are the recommended camshafts for each engine displacement.
Ceramic Plated Cylinder / Piston The 106cc SCUT structure is patented. Bore diameter 57mm All aluminum ceramic plated cylinder for durability, airtightness and heat dissipation. The cylinder is equipped with a temperature sensor as stock. Cylinder temperature can be measured by SP Takekawa's built-in thermometer or by purchasing a thermometer. For SCUT 106cc: M5 Temperature Sensor The SCUT cylinder is equipped with an oil jet mechanism (patent pending). The oil jet cylinder is a cylinder that can inject oil into the cylinder and piston without replacing the crankcase, disassembling the crankcase, machining the oil jet hole, or adding parts for oil jetting. By installing oil injection holes directly on the inner surface of the cylinder, oil can be injected into the piston skirt and the inner wall of the piston without interruption while the engine is running, thus ensuring efficient lubrication and cooling. The 106cc engine uses a cast piston. The piston skirt is coated with molybdenum for better initial adhesion.
