■Newly designed SP Takegawa original big throttle body (Bore diameter Φ34 adopted) By adopting the newly designed original big throttle body, the output performance in the high RPM range is improved, which is not the case with the stock throttle body specification, and the engine characteristic can be obtained without stress.
■Air filter for big throttle body (with blow-by union) By removing the stock air cleaner box and installing the SP Takegawa air filter, high intake efficiency suitable for the big throttle body can be achieved. Also, it is equipped with a blow-by union so that you can connect the hose to SP Takegawa's catch tank.
■SP Takegawa Original Inlet Pipe (for Stock Cylinder Head) (Casting) Big throttle body to stock intake port for smooth intake. I bought this with a few other parts, namely the Takegawa 138cc Big Bore Kit.About quality and texture: The build quality of the big throttle body is superb. The throttle body comes with all necessary nuts and hose needed to install it securely. It is designed to be easily installed unto the intake part of the cylynder block. It also come with shroud stay which fuctions as a structural member to hold the side panels of the z125 and to hold a Takegawa oil cooler if you decide to buy one. This basically means everything is relatively easy to install. About the feeling of use: After installation and with the use of the Fi-con TYPE-e Injection controller, I could change the mapping of the ecu to suit the new parts. which then gave the engine a persceptable increase in throttle response and power. The combination of the N-20 cam, big bore high compression piston and big throttle body results in a fast revving engine and perceptable increase in power and performance. Products to buy together: You need to install this throttle body with a fuel controller like the Fi-con TYPE-e Injection Controller made by Takegawa (which I had already installed before hand.) Difficulty of installation: As this involved dismantling the top part of the engine, and I did not have the tools or skillset to do this, I got a trusted mechanic to do the installation for me. I suppose if you have the right tools and skillset, installation is possible for a experienced home mechanic. Cost performance and comparison with other products: This is the only big throttle body avaiable for the z125 pro on webike. Therefore, I cant compare it to any other brand.
