The 2004 season was Makoto Tamada's second full year in MotoGPTM. He was determined to do his best in his home GP to prove that his first victory in Rio was not a fluke.The final race of the season will be a duel between pole position winner Tamada and reigning champion Valentino Rossi.Tamada, who had been close behind Rossi, took the lead midway through the race and began to pull away from Rossi.He stood at the top of the podium for the second time in front of the Japanese audience.As of 2016, more than 10 years after this victory, no Japanese rider has won in the premium class. In addition to the original commentary by Nick Harris and Matthew Roberts, this new recording features Pierre Kitagawa as the play-by-play man, and Makoto Tamada as the unprecedented commentator himself! During the race, the DVD remote control can be used to switch the viewpoints between the live and in-vehicle images, to switch the sound, and to display information on each lap.
