Turning the Retro Image Around: Z900RS Custom
MOTO CORSE's Z900RS
Using the world's most advanced, cutting-edge parts, this Z900RS renews the base model's distinctive retro taste, reflecting the styling of the base model and how Z1 was created. Ohlins inverted front forks, Brembo radial mount calipers, and carbon parts including the wheels are all parts that change the Z900RS's retro image around. This Z900RS custom was worked by Moto Corse. They used plenty of world-renowned parts specialized for riding performance. The style outline follows that of the base model, although it does not have much of a classical taste. The exterior has not changed significantly, and the construction of each part, such as radial-mount calipers, inverted front forks, and megaphone-type silencer, is also similar to that of the base model. In addition, the Z1 that the Z900RS was inspired by was a model that aimed for maximum performance. In other words, this Z900RS custom built by Moto Corse has the same focus on the world's highest performance as the Z1, while taking advantage of the base model's features.
Handle
The high quality appearance is achieved through the extensive use of dry carbon parts. Meter housing, headlight, frame neck covers, and other parts are all specially made by Moto Corse.
The Z900RS has been thoroughly lightened. The handlebar's material is dry carbon, and the top bridge is made of aluminum to reduce weight and improve rigidity. A smartphone holder is also installed.
Bodyworks
To incorporate European trends, the coloring is unified in black. Chrome lines are cut out using 3D data and applied by hand by craftsmen.
The stock seat is well made, but they thought that a slight rearrangement of the shape would give a different impression, so they reupholstered the seat cover.
The tail end seemed a little long, so it was shortened by 30mm from the stock to give the rider a sense of unity with the bike. The carbon fiber tail end was molded in the same shape as the stock one.
Intake & Exhaust
The silencer is made by Moto Corse and was designed along with the stock tube layout. The honeycomb mesh on the end cap has an extravagant one-piece structure made by laser machining.
Chassis
Brembo calipers and masters and ALTH disc rotors are installed based on Moto Corse's expertise in handling many luxury Italian cars.
The mono shock is also by Ohlins. The black color accentuates the chassis with its highly evaluated performance.
