It is a former mechanic, and I installed it carefully while considering the position of the Waffle on the back side. However, I noticed that the thumb of the left hand had become numb by the vibration when I ran 80km on the mountain road by touring (was there also some cold?). I'm not sure if it was cold or not.
Even though it is an off-road motorcycle, it is relatively new (WR250R/2015) I've never had such a problem with OEM grips before. If you look closely, you'll see that the OEM grip has a waffle finish up to the thumb area, but the domino grip is made similarly but without the waffle finish. The grip is a little thicker than the OEM grip.
And I felt a bit of numbness in the fingertips of my Right hand. (5BE-26240-00) I think that the grid size of Waffle is Smaller in the case of the "Mere Old Man", so that the fingertips are less likely to become numb.

Retrofitted GripAssist broke quickly and purchased DominoGrip.

I always liked PillowTop of Pro taper and it was my favorite, but this time it was a missing item and the delivery date was undecided so I chose it looking emphatically. It is different from a soft feeling that is kind to the hand like PillowTop, but this seems to be easy to grasp without sliding firmly with the palm that makes me think it is this.

It's dreadful when you touch it with your bare hands.
Car wash detergent won't help. You'll need brake cleansers to clean it which is dissapointing.
But overall I'm satisfied and will clean it now and then to continue using it.View Detail
